Atmospheric aeronautical engineers are required to be in airplanes, jets and helicopters. Keeping a plane/helicopter in sky is highly important task for them to do. They may be involved in the development of the Jets/remote pilot equipments and military equipment.

These days Aeronautical engineering is the highly paid career option. An average start salary of an aeronautical engineer is between Rs. 1.5Lk to Rs. 3.0Lk per annum. The Salary is also dependent on the reputation of institute you are passed from, your domain skills and your academic excellence. With a experience a highly skilled engineer may get a salary of Rs. 40,000/- to 1.25 Lakh per month. An approximate starting basic pay scale in government sector may be from Rs.8.000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per month. But those working in research and development may get from Rs. 12,000/- to 18,000/- as a basic pay scale.
